Spectrocity was established by Jimmy O'Keeffe.  Passionate about thermography and it's benefits, Jimmy is a Category 3 Master Thermographer, certified by ITC Infrared Training Center.  He has more than 28 years experience in automation and offers a wide variety of mechanical and electrical skills.

 Jimmy graduated as a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer in 1997.  In 2005 he diversified into Systems Engineering, involving PLC programming, Industrial automation controls, IT Infrastructure and hardware support.  Since 2010 Jimmy has worked as a Systems Engineer. His extensive skill-set  includes panel design, wiring, coding, IT Services and machine safety.  Jimmy has achieved Ce Certification on both new and upgraded machines.  With a continued focus on professional development, Jimmy qualified as an Electrical Service Engineer in 2022.  For more information on Jimmy's credentials, please see Linkedin.

Thermography is provided using the Flir T865 and Flir E96 with different lens options. Temperatures range between -20°C and 1500°C and can be measured with high accuracy.  The camera is calibrated annually  and calibration certificates are included with reports.  Reports are generated using the latest reporting tools from Flir.  Radiometric IR video recording can also be provided.  Electrical Thermography is also enhanced with the use of the Flir CM83 and CM57 600Amp clamp meters with Meterlink.
